The amount of valerian root tablets you’ll need to take will depend entirely on which product you choose.

 

For example, the one-a-night tablets from Kalms and Nytol both contain 385mg of valerian root extract in each tablet, so you’ll only need to take one tablet before bedtime.

 

On the other hand, Nytol Herbal Tablets each contain 30.8mg of valerian root along with other herbal ingredients, and you’ll only need to take 1 – 2 tablets an hour before bed.
