Is vegan skincare better for your skin?
Vegan skincare products tend to include more natural ingredients, therefore they may be better for those with sensitive skin.
As vegan products come from plants, they often bring more goodness like antioxidants, minerals and natural oils which are great for the skin.
Are Cetaphil products vegan friendly?
Cetaphil products are currently vegan friendly.
They do not contain any products derived from animals and are not tested on animals.
However, always check the list of ingredients on products before you use them, as manufacturers can change ingredients at any time.
Which moisturiser is right for my skin type?
If you’ve got normal / combination skin, you’ll need a balancing moisturiser that will hydrate those dry spots without worsening your oiler areas.
If you’ve got oily or acne-prone skin, look for an oil-free, water-based moisturiser or one that’s non-comedogenic so it won’t block your pores - this way, your skin will be left feeling soft and supple, but shine and blemish free.
If your skin is dry, you’ll need a rich cream or emollient that’s designed to lock in moisture.
What skin type do I have?
If your skin produces too much sebum, it may become oily and you’ll probably find that your skin feels overly greasy and shiny.
If you have dry skin, you could be suffering from skin that is rough, scaly or flaky.
If you’ve got a combination skin type, you’ll probably find that the T-zone (forehead, nose and chin) will generally be oily and prone to blemishes.
