Erectile Dysfunction (Impotence)

Many men experience erection problems at some point in their life, and erectile dysfunction (which is also known as ED or impotence) is much more common than you might think.

You might struggle to get or keep an erection when you’re feeling particularly stressed or anxious about something (ironically, being anxious about ED doesn’t help this!) or simply because you’ve had a bit too much to drink. However, if you’re experiencing long-term erectile dysfunction it may be caused by other medical conditions, such as diabetes, high blood pressure or cholesterol, or hormonal problems.

Remember, your final treatment will be decided by our prescribers based on your answers provided within your consultation. You will be asked to indicate a preferred treatment option from a selected list after completion of your consult.

How do erectile dysfunction treatments work?

Erectile dysfunction is relatively simple to treat nowadays, no doubt you’ve heard of the little blue Viagra pill even if it’s something that hasn’t affected you before.

Using a treatment like sildenafil (the active ingredient in Viagra and similar products) helps the blood vessels in your penis to open up.

This makes it easier for blood to rush to the area when things are getting hot and heavy and makes it easier for you to get and keep an erection.

We understand that talking to your GP about impotence face to face can be embarrassing, which is why many men prefer to have an online consultation with our prescribers in the privacy of their own home.

Just answer a few quick questions from our prescribers to complete your consultation and they’ll be able to decide whether an ED treatment like Viagra or sildenafil would be right for you.

If they agree and write out a prescription, it will be sent straight to your door by our pharmacy team in discreet packaging, ensuring your privacy every step of the way.
