What are Cl-ear Olive Oil Ear Drops?
Cl-ear Olive Oil Ear Drops are a gentle and effective way of easing the symptoms of earwax build-up, such as pain and partial loss of hearing. These ear drops contain medical-grade olive oil, a trusted remedy for excess earwax removal.
How to use these ear drops
To use Cl-ear Olive Oil Ear Drops, tilt your head to one side with the affected ear facing upwards. You will need to keep the solution in your ear for a few minutes, so you may want to lie on your side while using these ear drops.
Drop 2 to 3 drops into the ear without letting the nozzle touch or enter your ear canal. Keep the drops in your ear for a few minutes whilst gently massaging around the outside of your ear. If needed, plug the ear with some cotton wool to prevent leaking. To remove the oil, tilt your head the other way and allow the oil to drain out, wiping the outside of your ear gently to remove any residue. Always wipe down the nozzle after each use with some clean cotton wool.
You should use Cl-ear Olive Oil Ear Drops twice a day for up to 7 days if necessary. If the earwax is still causing issues after 6 days, speak to your doctor for expert advice.
How does olive oil clear earwax?
Olive oil has long been a tried & tested way of removing earwax build-up at home. As it’s a natural lubricant, olive oil can help to soften the hard excess earwax making it easier to remove. Using olive oil before an ear irrigation appointment with your doctor is thought to help with the effective removal of the earwax.
What causes earwax build-up?
The build-up of excess earwax is a very common problem that can affect anyone. Some people are more prone to earwax buildup, particularly if you use cotton buds to try and clean your ears or you frequently wear earphones or hearing aids. Swimming can also cause some people to produce excess earwax.
