What is Cl-ear Olive Oil Spray?

Cl-ear Olive Oil Spray is an easy-to-use device that helps to gently soften and break down ear wax, allowing it to fall out on its own. This spray contains high quality pharmaceutical grade olive oil, the ideal natural remedy to safely remove ear wax.

How to use this product

Always use Cl-ear Olive Oil Spray exactly as described in the patient information leaflet or as your doctor / Chemist4U pharmacist has told you. Use 2-3 sprays in the ear twice a day for 7 days to gently soften the earwax, allowing it to fall out on its own. If your symptoms do not improve, speak to your doctor or Chemist4U pharmacist for advice.

How does olive oil remove ear wax?

Olive oil helps to remove ear wax by softening and breaking it down, making it easier for it to pass out of the ear canal. This is the ideal solution if you have a hard, stuck build-up of wax in the ear.

What is the best way to remove wax from the ears?

The best way to clean your ears is with a damp washcloth - but you can also apply a few drops of olive oil or sodium bicarbonate drops into your ear to soften the wax and allow it to fall out on its own. Cotton swabs are fine to clean your outer ear, but you shouldn’t use them to clean the inside of your ear as they can cause injury and force the wax further down the ear canal.

Is Cl-ear Olive Oil suitable for children?

You should speak to your doctor or Chemist4U pharmacist before using Cl-ear Olive Oil Spray on children.

Is Cl-ear Olive Oil suitable for pregnant and breastfeeding women?

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, you must ask your doctor or Chemist4U pharmacist for advice before using Cl-ear Olive Oil Spray.

When should this product not be used?

Cl-ear Olive Oil Spray may be unsuitable for certain people. Do not use this spray if you are allergic to any of the ingredients. Do not use this spray if your ear is infected, inflamed or bleeding, or if the eardrum is ruptured.

Are there any side effects?

Cl-ear Olive Oil Spray causes no known side effects, but if you experience any irritation, discontinue use. Seek emergency medical attention if you notice any signs of a severe allergic reaction, symptoms of which include swelling of the face and throat, skin rash, breathing difficulties and/or loss of consciousness.

If you experience any side effects, including any not included in the patient information leaflet, you can report them using the MHRA Yellow Card Scheme.

Storage information

Store in a cool, dry place out of sight and reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date, referring to the last day of the month stated on the packaging.
