How often should you bathe your baby?
A newborn baby shouldn’t get too dirty, so there’s no need to bathe them every day - doing so can actually dry out their skin.
As a general rule, you shouldn't bathe your baby more than 3 times per week, but you can reduce or exceed this amount if you wish - baby’s are unpredictable, after all.
When your baby gets older, they will require more bathing as they explore and play, but this should increase naturally.

What should I do if soap gets in my baby’s eyes?
When soap gets into your baby’s eyes, it can be distressing for both parent and baby, but these things are sure to happen at some point along the way.
First you’ll want to rinse your baby’s eyes with water, carefully avoiding getting it into their nose and mouth.
Then gently wipe their eyes with a wet washcloth.
What are the benefits of a baby massage?
Not only can giving your baby a massage help you to connect with them, but it can ease your baby into sleep, help them to relax, control stress and reduce crying.
It’s best to use oil, like Johnson’s Baby Oil, to massage into their skin to keep it soft and supple; but please note that the NHS recommends waiting until your baby is one month old before you start using any oils or lotions.
