There are certain nutrients you will need to take throughout your pregnancy and afterwards to make sure that you’re supporting yourself and your baby in the best way possible. For example, you should be taking 400μg folic acid supplements every day at the beginning of your pregnancy. As this product will only be able to provide 300μg of folic acid a day at most, there may be other supplements that are better suited to give you the support your body needs at this time.

How to take this supplement

Take 10 - 15ml (2 - 3 teaspoons) of Sambucol Extra Defence liquid every day. This product should not be taken on an empty stomach, for best results take after a meal. Do not take more than the recommended daily dose.

When should this product not be used?

Sambucol Extra Defence liquid is not suitable for use in children under the age of 12. Do not take this product if you are allergic to black elderberry or any of the other listed ingredients.
