What are Carnation Corn Caps?

Carnation Corn Caps are a treatment for corns that can work in 10 days or less. They help to remove corns while relieving pressure on the area, easing the pain that can be caused by corns. If you suffer from corns and are looking for a solution, Carnation Corn Caps could be the answer.

Why do I have corns?

Corns happen when areas of your skin, most commonly your feet or toes, experience a lot of friction or pressure. This forms a round area of hard, thick skin in the affected area, and this is caused a corn. Corns commonly happen on your feet because your feet rub against the sides of your shoes, making this the ideal environment for corns to form.

How will Carnation Corn Caps treat my corns?

Carnation Corn Caps are medicated plasters which contain salicylic acid as an active ingredient. The salicylic acid works to loosen and soften the hard skin that makes up your corn, allowing it to flake away until the entire corn can be removed. The felt ring of the corn cap also relieves pressure and friction on the area around the corn, tackling the cause of the corn directly.

How to use Carnation Corn Caps.

Before using Carnation Corn Caps, make sure your feet are clean and dry. Remove the corn cap from the backing paper and position it over the corn, making sure the felt ring is positioned right over the centre of the corn. Firmly apply the cap with the adhesive straps, making sure it will not move or slip. Change the Carnation Corn Caps every 2 days until your corn is easily removed. Do not use more than 5 corn caps on one corn.

When should Carnation Corn Caps not be used?

Carnation Corn Caps are not suitable for use by those who are younger than 15. Do not use Carnation Corn Caps if you are allergic to soya, peanut oil, salicylic acid, or any of the other ingredients listed. Do not use Carnation Corn Caps to treat more than 3 corns at a time. Speak to your doctor before using Carnation Corn Caps if you have a circulatory disorder. Do not use this product if:

  • You have diabetes.
  • You are using other medicated products to treat your corn.
  • You want to use this product for any reason other than treating corns.
  • The skin around your corn is inflamed or broken.
  • It is after the expiry date.
