Zantac 75 Relief - 48 Tablets are a treatment designed to relieve and prevent the symptoms of heartburn and indigestion.
The fast-acting tablets provide you with up to 12 hours of relief.
How Zantac 75 Relief - 48 Tablets work
Zantac 75 Relief - 48 Tablets contain the active ingredient ranitidine. Ranitidine belongs to a group of medicines called H-2 blockers.
The tablets work by preventing your stomach from making too much acid.
Directions
Always take Zantac 75 Relief - 48 Tablets exactly as described in the patient information leaflet or as your doctor / Chemist4U pharmacist has told you.
Take 1 tablet with water as soon as you start to display symptoms. If your symptoms haven’t eased after an hour, take another tablet.
To prevent symptoms associated with eating and drinking, take one tablet between 30 minutes to an hour beforehand.
Side effects
Like all medicines, Zantac 75 Relief - 48 Tablets may cause side effects in some people, but these won’t affect everybody. Common side effects include:
- Headaches
- Dizziness
- Hallucinations
- Depression
- Confusion
- Uncontrolled movements

Serious side effects

Warnings
Zantac 75 Relief - 48 Tablets may be unsuitable for certain people. Do not take these tablets if you are allergic to any of the ingredients.
Talk to your doctor or Chemist4U pharmacist before taking this medicine if:
- You have kidney problems
- You suffer from porphyria
- You have lost weight without the intention to
- You are middle-aged or older with new indigestion symptoms
Do not take these tablets for more than 2 weeks continuously.
Using/taking other medicines
If you have taken or have recently taken any medication, including medication obtained without a prescription, talk to your GP or pharmacist before taking this medication.
It is important that you tell your doctor if you are taking non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), such as ibuprofen or aspirin.
Age restrictions
Zantac 75 Relief - 48 Tablets are not suitable for children under 16 years old.

Driving and operating machinery

Store in a cool, dry place out of sight and reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date, referring to the last day of the month stated on the packaging. Do not throw away any medicines via wastewater or household waste.
