What is Pregnacare Plus?
Pregnacare Plus is a dual pack of supplements which contain vitamins, minerals, and nutrients which are ideal for pregnant women. They help to provide you and your baby with the essential nutrients you both need to be at your best during this life changing time.
How will these supplements support my wellbeing throughout my pregnancy?
Pregnacare Plus tablets contain the 400µg of folic acid that the NHS recommends that you take during the first 12 weeks of pregnancy. Folic acid helps to reduce the risk of the development of neural tube defects, such as spina bifida, in a developing foetus, encouraging healthy spinal growth. They also contain vitamin D, which helps to control the amount of calcium in your body, encouraging healthy bone development, plus a whole host of other essential vitamins and minerals. At the same time, the Omega-3 capsules provide 300mg of the fatty acid DHA, which helps to contribute to normal brain and eye development in your foetus.
Which nutrients are in this dual pack?
This Pregnacare Plus dual pack contains a daily vitamin and mineral tablet and Omega-3 capsules, which are formulated to work together to support both you and your baby throughout pregnancy. You can find a full list of the nutrients included in your supplements on the packaging, or on this page, under the information tab.
