Buy Lyclear Dermal Cream Permethrin 5%

Lyclear Dermal Cream Permethrin 5% is a topical treatment for scabies and crab lice.

Scabies or crab lice infestations can be uncomfortable and unpleasant, but Lyclear provides a simple and effective solution to help clear up the infestation and provide relief.

How Lyclear Dermal Cream Permethrin 5% works

Lyclear Dermal Cream Permethrin 5% contains permethrin, an effective insecticide that treats scabies and crab lice infestations and prevents them from spreading.

This easy-to-use formula works by killing the scabies mites or crab lice and their eggs.

Directions

Always use Lyclear Dermal Cream Permethrin 5% exactly as described in the patient information leaflet or as your doctor / Chemist4U pharmacist has told you.

Pierce the tube by removing the cap and reversing it over the nozzle before pushing firmly and turning to pierce the tube lid. Apply the cream to clean, dry, cool skin. Do not take a hot bath or shower immediately before treatment. Carefully apply a thin layer of cream to the skin.

Lyclear Dermal Cream Permethrin 5% is for cutaneous use only.

Adults should apply the cream to the whole body, including the neck, soles of the feet and palms of the hands. The head and face do not need to be covered with the product unless this area is affected by scabies. When applying the cream, the areas between fingers and toes (including under the nails), the wrists, elbows, armpits, external genitalia and buttocks should be treated with extra care and caution.

Facial hair and eyelashes should be checked for live lice or eggs when treating crab lice. Cream should be applied to facial hair carefully, and the eye area should be avoided. If live lice or eggs are found on your eyelashes, remove them carefully using a pair of tweezers. Do not apply this cream to the eyes.

To treat scabies in adults and adolescents over the age of 12, apply up to 30g of cream; for children aged between 6 and 12 years old, apply up to 15g of cream; for children aged from 2 months to 5 years old, apply up to 7.5g of cream. To treat crab lice in adults over the age of 18, apply up to 30g of cream.

One application of Lyclear is usually enough to kill an infestation of scabies or crab lice, and the cream should be left on the skin for at least 8 hours. Avoid bathing, showering or washing during this period, as it could limit the success of the treatment. After at least 8 hours, shower or wash the skin with soap and water. If lice are still found after one treatment, repeating the treatment after 14 days may be necessary.

Expensive, particularly when two tubes are needed to treat (first, and second application a week later)

Advice & Guides

What is scabies?

Scabies is a common, highly contagious skin condition caused by Sarcoptes scabiei, which are tiny mites that burrow into the skin.

This leads to intense itching, rashes and discomfort that often worsens at night.
