What is Fybogel Fibre Chews Citrus Flavour?

Fybogel Fibre Chews are chewable, zesty flavoured tablets that contain the active ingredient Fibersol. It gently relieves symptoms of constipation and helps you to pass stool more comfortably, in addition to maintaining the regularity of your bowel movements.

What is the recommended dosage?

Always take Fybogel Fibre Chews exactly as described in the patient information leaflet or as your doctor / Chemist4U pharmacist has told you. For adults and children aged 12 years and over, take 3 tablets in the morning and 3 tablets in the evening. Do not take more than 6 tablets per day. Do not swallow whole; chew and dissolve the tablet in your mouth before swallowing.

How does Fibersol relieve constipation?

The active ingredient in Fybogel Fibre Chews is the soluble fibre Fibersol, which helps to increase the bulkiness of your stool to make them easier and more comfortable to pass. It’s also able to relieve symptoms of constipation and restore the regularity of your bowel movements.

What is constipation?

Constipation isn’t just about not being able to go to the toilet - rather, it describes a collection of symptoms that include hard, pellet-like stools, excessive straining, a sensation that you are unable to go, and a decrease in bowel movements.

The source of constipation varies, but it could be caused by medication, lack of fibre, dehydration, stress, exercise, hormones, or ignoring the urge to go to the toilet. However, it’s important to remember that constipation is subjective to the individual, and it’s very normal to not have a daily bowel movement.

Is Fybogel Fibre Chews suitable for children?

Fybogel Fibre Chews are suitable for children aged 12 years and over. If you’re looking for a constipation treatment for a child under the age of 12, you should speak to your doctor or Chemist4U pharmacist for advice on alternative treatments.

Is Fybogel Fibre Chews suitable for pregnant and breastfeeding women?

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, you must ask your doctor or Chemist4U pharmacist for advice before taking Fybogel Fibre Chews.
