What is Fybogel Hi-Fibre Orange?
Fybogel Hi-Fibre is an easy and convenient way to increase fibre in your diet which can help your digestive system to work more efficiently and gently relieve constipation. It works naturally with your body and takes care of constipation without straining, discomfort or unnatural urgency, helping to restore and maintain regularity. This product can also be used to help maintain normal bowel function if you suffer from haemorrhoids.
Why is fibre important?
There is strong evidence that eating plenty of fibre is associated with a lower risk of heart disease, stroke, type 2 diabetes and bowel cancer. A diet rich in fibre can also help digestion and prevent constipation. Fibre bulks up stools and makes them softer, therefore, easier to pass, which makes waste move through the digestive tract more quickly.
Research has increasingly shown how important the bacteria is to our health and it has been suggested that a fibre-rich diet can help increase the good bacteria in our gut.
How does Fybogel work?
Fybogel can be used whenever increased fibre is needed in your diet to relieve constipation, including constipation during pregnancy. It can also be used to help maintain normal bowel function if you suffer from haemorrhoids. Fybogel contains the active ingredient- Ispaghula Husk which helps to relieve constipation by increasing faecal mass which stimulates the passing of stools.
