What are Scholl Flight Socks?

Scholl Flight Socks are specially designed to help to prevent DVT while relieving swelling in your legs or ankles during long journeys. Ideal for any long journey, whether it’s by car, plane, or train, the antimicrobial protection helps to keep your feet fresh and odour-free. Scholl Flight Socks can help your legs feel refreshed and revitalised so you can enjoy your trip.

What is deep vein thrombosis (also known as DVT)?

Deep vein thrombosis, or DVT, is what happens when you develop a blood clot in one of your deep veins, commonly forming in the deep vein in your leg. These clots can form when you are inactive for a long time, meaning that there is an increased risk of DVT if you go on a long journey. If you have DVT, your leg can feel sore and swollen, and you might experience warm and red skin in the affected area.

How can flight socks help to prevent DVT?

Scholl Flight Socks use a compression factor of 14 – 17 a factor which has been clinically proven to help improve circulation in your legs. This helps to reduce your risk of DVT and can prevent swollen legs and ankles, leaving you free to go on your long journey comfortably.

How to use Scholl Flight Socks

Always make sure that you wear both flight socks at all times during your journey. Make sure Scholl Flight Socks are pulled up below your knee during use. Do not wear other socks or hosiery when you are wearing Scholl Flight Socks, they are designed to work independently.
