What are Rennie Peppermint Tablets?

Rennie Peppermint Tablets are a form of treatment that helps to relieve indigestion and heartburn, as well as flatulence upset stomach, and hyperacidity. They work thanks to the two active ingredients, calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate, which are what is called antacids. Antacids neutralise excess stomach acid by turning it into the water and other natural substances before being removed from the body.

What is indigestion?

Indigestion is quite a common condition that affects most people, and in most cases is not a serious condition. Indigestion is caused by overeating for many people but can be brought on by other conditions. These include:

Acid reflux/heartburn is the condition where stomach acid gets out of the stomach and gets into the throat, causing a burning sensation. Despite what many believe, acid reflux is a symptom of indigestion and not its own condition. Everyone who experiences acid reflux will also experience other symptoms of indigestion.
