What is Purifide Daily Moisturiser SPF30?

Purifide Daily Moisturiser SPF30 is a lightweight, non-greasy moisturiser from the makers of Acnecide. It’s especially formulated for hydrating and protecting sensitive, spot-prone skin, containing soothing glycyrrhetinic acid, allantoin, sphinganine, panthenol, vitamin E and zinc to nourish and protect your skin barrier. Additionally, this moisturiser contains a barely visible UVA/B sunscreen that’s suitable for a wide range of skin tones. Non-comegenic and suitable for sensitive skin, it helps to reduce oil and shine while providing 24 hours of hydration.

How to use this product

Always use Purifide Daily Moisturiser SPF30 exactly as described in the patient information leaflet or as your doctor / Chemist4U pharmacist has told you. Apply daily to cleansed skin on the face and neck. To maintain protection, reapply throughout the day.

In what order should I apply my skincare products?

Regardless of whether your skincare routine contains two products or ten, it’s important to apply them in the right order so they work as they should. First things first, use your cleanser to wash your face before applying any other products, morning or night.

If you’re using a toner, apply that next, followed by a serum and then your moisturiser. For your daytime routine, make sure you finish off your skincare routine by applying a sunscreen if your moisturiser doesn’t contain a high SPF.

What type of acne do I have?

Acne is a skin condition that results in spots caused by the build up of too much sebum (oil) in the hair follicles in your skin. There are different types of acne and different levels of severity. The different types of spots include blackheads, whiteheads, papules, pustules, nodules and cysts.

Your acne may be deemed as severe if you develop nodules (large, hard, painful lumps that build up beneath the surface of the skin) or cysts (large, pus-filled lumps that look similar to boils). At this stage, you should seek advice from your GP for expert treatment to avoid scarring, especially if it’s making you feel very unhappy.

Is Purifide Daily Moisturiser SPF30 suitable for pregnant and breastfeeding women?

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, you must ask your doctor or Chemist4U pharmacist for advice before using any new product.

When should this product not be used?

Purifide Daily Moisturiser SPF30 may be unsuitable for certain people. Do not use this product if you are allergic to any of the ingredients. Seek emergency medical attention if you notice any signs of a severe allergic reaction, symptoms of which include swelling of the face and throat, skin rash, breathing difficulties and/or loss of consciousness.
