What is Numark Sodium Picosulfate?

Numark Sodium Picosulfate is a remedy for constipation. It works overnight to help relieve your constipation by encouraging a healthy bowel movement. Sodium Picosulfate is perfect for people older than 10 who are suffering with constipation and need a reliable way to help to get their bowel movements back to normal.

Why do I have constipation?

There are lots of reasons why you may have constipation, and many people experience it at one point in their lives. When you have constipation, you’ll find that you’re unable to have a poo as regularly as you usually would, or may find that your poo is larger or harder than usual. Some of the most common causes of constipation include:

  • Not getting enough fibre in your diet
  • A sudden change in diet
  • Not exercising regularly or living a sedentary lifestyle
  • Pregnancy
  • Some medications, including codeine

How will sodium picosulfate help to ease my constipation?

Sodium picosulfate works to ease constipation because it is a type of medication called a laxative. It stimulates the muscles in your bowel, which helps poo move through your intestine so you can have a healthy bowel movement. It works overnight, and is ideal when you’re trying to help your body get back into its natural rhythm.
