What are NovoTwist needles?
NovoTwist Plus are ultra-thin needles designed to fit into your injector pen with a simple twist and click. These needles slot into place with ease, helping you to administer your treatment quickly and effectively. These NovoTwist needles are just 5mm in length, designed to cause less pain and bruising than regular needles.
How to use these needles
Start by thoroughly washing and drying your hands. Remove the pen cap on your injector pen and select a new NovoTwist needle to attach to your pen. Remove the protective cap from the needle and just twist it on, listening for the click to make sure it’s firmly in place. To test that it’s working, hold your pen upright and release a dose - you should see the medicine appear at the tip of the needle. When you’re done with the needle, simply twist to remove it. Make sure to never use a needle more than once and dispose of them correctly.

Storage information
Store NovoTwist needles out of sight and reach of children. When disposing of used needles, make sure to use a sharps bin. Used needles must never be broken or bent before disposal and you must never try to recap a needle.
