What is Lovehoney Ignite Rechargeable Vibrating Butt Plug?

Lovehoney Ignite Rechargeable Vibrating Butt Plug is crafted from velvety-smooth silicone and offers 20 tempting vibration functions at the touch of a button. This pocket-sized butt plug is a perfectly pleasurable introduction to anal enjoyment.

You can increase arousal with your partner by wearing your plug during foreplay or sex, or by playing with the 3 speeds and 17 patterns solo to enhance your alone time. Discreet in design, your butt plug also includes a travel lock and storage bag for easy transportation, and is completely waterproof and USB rechargeable.

Use this butt plug with plenty of water-based anal lubricant for slippery fun! This product is latex-free and phthalate-free.

How to use this product

The first important step to using a butt plug is ensuring your anus is clean. You can do this by having a good wash in the bath or shower prior to using your plug. If you’d like to take extra precautions, you can also use an anal douche to flush your anus about 45 minutes before you’d like to enjoy your butt plug.

Unlike vaginas, anuses do not self-lubricate, so it’s even more important that you use a thick, anal-appropriate lubricant when you’re using a butt plug. The type of lube you use will depend on the material your butt plug is made of and your own personal preferences, but a good quality water-based, anal lubricant should be compatible with any butt plug you own.

To insert the butt plug, try stroking around your anus with a well-lubed finger, then try a little penetration with the same finger. Cover your plug in water-based anal lubricant, then position yourself comfortably, either:

  • Bent over on all-fours
  • On your back with a cushion under your butt and with your legs spread
  • Squatting over the plug on your feet or knees.

Slide the plug inside, ensuring that you pause if you experience discomfort so your body can adjust to the new sensations. Holding both the base and shaft, position the tip at the opening of the anus, angled slightly towards your stomach, then gently push. You should feel the very tip enter you.

When you feel comfortable, push a little more of the plug in, moving your hand off the shaft and using just the base of the butt plug to provide any motion. If you’re still feeling comfortable, push further and let the slim neck of the plug sit inside you with the flared base resting externally.

Why you should use a butt plug

A butt plug gently stretches the anus to create a sensation of fullness and pressure while stimulating the sensitive internal and external nerve endings. When the pelvic muscles contract during an orgasm, a butt plug can intensify the sensation. A butt plug is a great way to explore anal play for the first time, either through solo masturbation or with a partner.

What is the best way to clean a sex toy?

You should clean your sex toy after use with an adult toy cleaner and leave it to air dry. By cleaning thoroughly and drying your butt plug completely, you will prevent dust and bacteria build-up and keep it looking and feeling like new.
