How Lockets Berry Cough Sweet Lozenges work 

The active ingredient, menthol, is a cough suppressant and an oral anaesthetic, numbing and relieving pain in the throat and mouth. They have a soothing honey centre that provides you with double action relief. 

The action of sucking the lozenge allows the ingredients to work in the area of discomfort. They also help to lubricate and soothe the painful area.

Directions

Always take Lockets Berry Cough Sweet Lozenges exactly as described.

Place the lozenge in the mouth and allow it to dissolve slowly. 

You can take a lozenge every 2-3 hours. Do not take more than 12 lozenges in 24 hours. 

Side effects

Like all products, Lockets Berry Cough Sweet Lozenges may cause side effects in some people, but these won’t affect everybody.

Serious side effects

Seek emergency medical attention if you notice any signs of a severe allergic reaction, symptoms of which include swelling of the face and throat, skin rash, breathing difficulties and/or loss of consciousness. 

Warnings

These lozenges may be unsuitable for certain people. Do not take these lozenges if you are allergic to any of the ingredients.

These lozenges should not be used for long periods.

They are not recommended for children who have a history of convulsions.
