What is ExoCream?

ExoCream is a simple emollient cream that contains anhydrous lanolin, white soft paraffin and liquid paraffin. These ingredients are known for their softening, moisturising properties and help skin to retain its moisture and restore its normal protective function. ExoCream is suitable for all ages, including infants, and can be used for dry ski conditions including eczema, contact dermatitis and psoriasis.

How to use ExoCream

Apply ExoCream to the affected areas of the skin on a regular basis, as often as required. Use a few gentle strokes to smooth the cream across the skin in the same direction as hair growth and allow time for any excess cream to soak into the skin. If you are using any other creams or skin treatments alongside ExoCream, use them at different times to avoid mixing the products.

What are emollients?

An emollient is a type of moisturising treatment that is applied directly to your skin to soothe and hydrate it. They work by covering the skin with a protective layer to trap in moisture. Emollients are suitable for people with dry skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis and they can come in the form of lotions, sprays, creams, ointments, soap substitutes and leave-on products.

When should ExoCream not be used?

ExoCream will be suitable for most people, however, you should not use this product if you are allergic to anhydrous lanolin, white soft paraffin, liquid paraffin or any of the other ingredients. Do not smoke or go near naked flames whilst using ExoCream - fabric that has been in contact with this product burns more easily and is a serious fire hazard.

Are there any side effects?

It is very unlikely that you will experience any adverse reactions while using ExoCream. This product has been specifically designed for use on dry skin, but in some rare cases it can cause irritation or allergic skin reactions on extremely sensitive skin. If your skin seems to look or feel worse after using ExoCream, discontinue use and speak to your doctor or Chemist4U pharmacist.
