What is Diprobase lotion?

Diprobase lotion is a light emollient lotion which can be used every day. It helps to relieve symptoms of eczema and dry skin, preventing flare ups. It can be used as a cleanser, helping you to avoid soap-based products that can irritate eczema and dry skin.

 

What is eczema?

Eczema is a common skin condition that many people suffer from. Some people may only suffer with small patches of eczema, but others may experience it all over the body. When you have an eczema flare up, you will usually notice the following symptoms on your skin:

  • Redness
  • Itching sensation
  • Dryness
  • Cracked skin
  • Inflammation
  • Soreness

 

How does Diprobase lotion help to relieve eczema?

Diprobase lotion has a cooling effect on the skin, soothing symptoms of eczema and dry skin. It can help to prevent flare ups of eczema and helps to reduce itching, so if you are suffering with an eczema flare up you will be less tempted to scratch the area.

 

Can I use this product if I’m pregnant or breastfeeding?

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding you should speak to your doctor or Chemist 4 U pharmacist before using this or any other medication. This will help you to be sure that the product is safe for both you and your baby.

 

Can I use this product if I’m using other medication?

Speak to your doctor or Chemist 4 U pharmacist before using this product if you are using any other medication, especially those applied to the skin, even if they were obtained without a prescription. Some medications can interact when used together, causing unwanted effects or making your medication less effective.

 

How to use Diprobase lotion

Spread a generous amount of Diprobase lotion onto the affected area and smooth into the skin until lotion is absorbed. Use Diprobase lotion as a cleanser to help you to avoid soap or other products which may irritate eczema and dry skin. This product is gentle enough to use every day.

 

When should Diprobase lotion not be used?

Do not use Diprobase lotion if you are allergic to any of the listed ingredients. This product is for external use only, avoid contact with eyes and do not apply to mucous membranes (e.g. inside of mouth and nose).

 

Does this product have side effects?

Like all medication, Diprobase Lotion can have side effects, although not everyone will experience them. If you experience any side effects while using this product, stop using this product and speak to your doctor or Chemist 4 U pharmacist straight away. How to store this product

Store in a cool, dry place. Store in original packaging, do not use once expiration date printed on packaging has passed. Keep out of sight and reach of children.
