How to apply Rozex cream

Use the cream twice a day, morning and evening. Your prescriber will tell you how long you need to use Rozex for to keep your symptoms under control.

Here's how to use Rozex cream:

• Wash and dry the affected areas of your skin.
• Apply a thin layer of cream to all affected areas, taking care not to get it in your eyes.
• Rub the cream in well.
• Replace the cap after use.
• Wash your hands after applying the cream.

What not to use with Rozex cream

While using Rozex cream, avoid strong sunlight, sunbathing, and ultraviolet light. Try to limit unnecessary UV exposure throughout your treatment, too.

Rozex may interfere with medicines used to reduce blood clotting, like warfarin and dicoumarin. Speak to your prescriber before using Rozex if you take blood-thinning medicines or have any blood disorders.

Oral metronidazole can also react with alcohol. This reaction is unlikely with Rozex cream because it's applied to the skin, but you should still avoid drinking alcohol while using it.

• you're allergic to metronidazole, polysorbates, or any of the other listed ingredients
• you're affected by Cockayne syndrome
