The BioSURE Kidney Function Test is a blood test that will check how well your kidneys are performing. You can do the kidney function test at home to check if your kidneys are functioning properly.
The at-home kidney test analyses 3 key biomarkers:
- Creatinine
- Urea
- Estimate glomerular filtration rate (eGFR)
How to use
When you receive the test kit, all you need to do is take a simple finger prick sample, using the lancets that are provided in the box. Once you have done this, you can then register it online and post your kit to the laboratory using the envelope enclosed.
Your results are reviewed by the in-house GPs who will highlight any cause for concern that may need further investigation by your doctor. You will receive your full report via email, showing your results and how they compare with the normal reference ranges. You should expect to get your results the day after the lab receives your sample.
