What is Biofreeze Gel?

It’s ideal for those suffering with pain caused by exercise or sporting injuries, helping to cool your pain so you can focus on reaching your fitness goals. Biofreeze is available in a gel, spray, or roll on applicator, and the gel comes in 59ml and 118ml tubes, perfect for slipping into your bag for fast pain relief on the go.
How will this product help to relieve my pain?
Biofreeze Gel helps to relieve pain by using cryotherapy, or cool therapy, countering the pain signals that your body is producing. It uses a method called Gate Control Theory, where the cooling sensation given by Biofreeze blocks pain signals from going through the “gates” in the nerve pathways that tell your brain you’re in pain. This helps to reduce your pain, leaving you feeling a pleasant cooling sensation instead.

Biofreeze is perfect for relieving minor aches and pains all over the body, as well as minor sporting injuries. Some of the most popular uses for this pain-relief product include:

Why should I use Biofreeze instead of ice for cryotherapy?
Many people use ice to soothe sore muscles and reduce swelling, but Biofreeze can help to ease your pain in the same way and without the negative side effects of ice. For example, using ice packs on your skin can cause irritation, stiffness, numbness, or even pain in the treatment area, but Biofreeze has none of these problems. The handy, compact Biofreeze packs can be taken with you anywhere you want to go, where ice packs can be a pain to get hold of when you’re in the gym, at work, and in many other places. This makes Biofreeze the perfect choice for those who want to ease their pain with no fuss, so they can get back to focusing on what matters most.
