What is Zeroveen Emollient Cream?

Zeroveen is a deeply moisturising emollient cream infused with natural oatmeal to provide soothing and effective hydration for numerous dry skin conditions. This gentle, non-greasy formula is fragrance-free and can be used as both a moisturiser and wash, making it the ideal treatment for eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, ichthyosis, elderly pruritus and other dry skin conditions, proven to provide 24 hours of moisturisation.

How to use this product

Always use exactly as described in the patient information leaflet or as your doctor / Chemist4U pharmacist has told you. Apply a thin layer of cream onto the affected area, then gently massage into the skin. It’s beneficial to use emollients after bathing or showering to lock in moisture.

What is dry skin?

Many people have naturally dry skin, but it can also be caused by exposure to cold weather, central heating and air conditioning. Dry skin can be rough, scaly and uncomfortable, causing itchiness. To relieve this cycle it is important to use an emollient cream.

Your dry skin may also be the result of eczema, which is when your natural oils are lacking. When moisture escapes, the skin will dry and crack, allowing bacteria in. This leads to inflammation and itching, most commonly in the creases of your skin, or on your elbows and knees.

Additionally, emollient cream is effective against psoriasis, which is a chronic autoimmune skin condition and is often hereditary. It occurs due to the rapid growth of skin cells, causing plaques to form on the skin, appearing in flaky, scaly and red patches. These can be developed on any part of the body, including the scalp, hands, feet and genitals. Although there is no cure for psoriasis, the regular application of emollients, such as Zeroveen, will hydrate the skin and keep it more comfortable.

When should this product not be used?

Zeroveen Emollient Cream may be unsuitable for certain people. Do not use this product if you are allergic to any of the ingredients. This product is for external use only. This product contains liquid paraffin - avoid naked flames during use.

Are there any side effects?

It is very unlikely that you will experience any side effects from using this emollient cream. If you experience any symptoms of an allergic reaction (difficulty breathing, swelling of the face, skin rash) seek medical attention immediately.

If you experience any side effects, including those that are not listed in the patient information leaflet, you can report them using the MHRA Yellow Card Scheme.

Storage information
