What is Snufflebabe Vapour Oil?
Snufflebabe Vapour Oil emits soothing blends of lemon, pine and tea tree essential oils into the air to help your little one breathe clearly. In addition to its natural decongestant, antiseptic and antibacterial properties, this vapour can be used before your baby’s bedtime to create a calm and relaxing atmosphere to prepare for sleep.
How to use this product
There are two ways to use this product. From birth to use as a room vapour, add a few drops of Snufflebabe Vapour Oil into a bowl of warm water or to a damp cloth hung over a heated radiator to release the vapour into the air. From the age of 3 months, in addition to using this oil as a room vapour, you may apply 1-2 drops into the Snufflebabe Inhaler Dummy. Each 10ml bottle should provide you with 100 uses, based on 1-3 drops per use.
How do decongestants work?
A decongestant clears up congestion, helping you to breathe easier. Congestion is caused when the blood vessels in your nose dilate, causing inflammation and discomfort. Decongestant treatments help to narrow these blood vessels, and with the swelling reduced, it allows more air to pass through and the mucus to drain, providing relief for cold and flu symptoms.
Why does my child have a blocked nose?
There are many reasons why children can suffer from a blocked nose, and most likely, it’s nothing to worry about. Some of the most common causes of blocked noses are: cold and flu, sinusitis or a sinus infection, hay fever or other allergies, and rhinitis.
When should this product not be used?
Do not use Snufflebabe Vapour Oil if you’re allergic to linalool, citral, limonene, or any of the other listed ingredients. This product is intended to be used as a room vapour to clear your baby or child’s congestion. Do not put drops into the nose, ears, eyes or mouth. Avoid contact with clothing and skin.
Storage information
Store in a cool, dry place out of sight and reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date, referring to the last day of the month stated on the packaging. Do not throw away any medicines via wastewater or household waste.
