What is Saline Nasal Spray?
Saline Nasal Spray is designed to help treat blocked, dry or irritated nasal passages. The natural solution works by restoring moisture to the nasal passages while rinsing and clearing the nose. Suitable for infants, babies, pregnant or breastfeeding women, and adults, Saline Nasal Spray is the right choice for all the family.
Why is my nose blocked and dry?
If you have a blocked nose that’s isn’t runny and feels really dry, there could be a few things that are causing it. Dry nasal passages could be caused by a cold, or even some cold and allergy medications. Irritants like cigarette smoke or allergens can also help to dry out your nose, leaving you to feel stuffy and blocked up. If you are pregnant you may struggle with dry, blocked noses as your hormone levels change during pregnancy.
How does Saline Nasal Spray work?
Saline Nasal Spray helps to relieve dry, blocked nasal passages by helping to moisturise your nose. It also works to clear out any dust, dirt, or pollen that could be irritating your nose, causing dryness. The saline nasal spray can also help to clear congestion, helping you to breathe easy again.
How should Saline Nasal Spray be used?
Remove the can and test spray the pump before use. Ensure a fine mist is produced when pressing the pump.
Insert the nozzle into your nostril and spray once while breathing in. Repeat in the other nostril. Use spray as often as required.
For babies and infants under the age of 2, lay your child down and turn their head towards one side. Place the nozzle just into each nostril and spray once.
When should Saline Nasal Spray not be used?
For nasal use only. Do not use the Saline Nasal Spray if someone else has used the same pump and nozzle as this can spread infections. Do not use this product if you are allergic to any of the listed ingredients. Discard Saline Nasal Spray within 6 weeks of opening.
If you notice any side effect when using, stop using immediately and speak to a doctor or Chemist 4 U pharmacist. You can also record any side effect that you discover using the MHRA Yellow Card Scheme.

Does Numark nose spray contain medication and can it permanently damage your sense of smell?
This Saline Nasal Spray does not contain medication.
It works to clear nasal congestion and should have no lasting effects.
I work in an air con office, and I'm constantly catching one cold after another. I've heard that just a 'water' saline spray might help. Please could you let me know if this product is purely made from water? Thank you.
Most the nasal sprays are saline based (small amount of salt in the water). A number of brands exist, such as Sterimar or Neilmed. You could try Puressentiel Air Purifying Spray in the office if allowed as an alternative.
Can I remove the pump from the bottle?
The pump is not removable.
The mist produced is gentle and effective.
