What are Fresubin Protein Energy Drinks?

Fresubin Protein Energy Drinks are designed for the dietary management of people with increased protein and energy needs caused by disease-related malnutrition. Each 200ml bottle contains 300 calories and 20 grams of protein. These drinks are available in a range of flavours including chocolate, strawberry, tropical fruits and vanilla. 

How should I use these energy drinks?

Always consult with your doctor or dietitian if you are planning on using Fresubin Protein Energy Drinks for supplementary nutrition. As a guide, three 200ml bottles per day will provide 900kcal and 60g of protein, meeting requirements for essential micronutrients. Fresubin recommends that these drinks should be enjoyed chilled. 

Which nutrients are included in Fresubin Protein Energy Drinks?

Fresubin Protein Energy Drinks contain a range of essential vitamins and nutrients including vitamin A, vitamin D, vitamin B12, folic acid, iron, zinc, beta-carotene and many more. For the full list of ingredients, refer to the patient information leaflet.

When should this product not be used? 

Fresubin Protein Energy Drinks are not suitable as a sole source of nutrition. These drinks are not a substitute for a varied, balanced diet and healthy lifestyle. Fresubin Protein Energy Drinks are not suitable for infants under one year of age or for patients with galactosaemia. Children under 6 years of age should only use these drinks under medical supervision.

Storage information

Store in a cool place below 25°C. Once opened, you can store Fresubin Protein Energy Drinks for up to 24 hours in a refrigerator.
