What is Dermacort 0.1 Hydrocortisone Cream?
Dermacort hydrocortisone cream is a cream that can be used to ease skin irritation. It helps to relieve irritation caused by soap or detergents, or jewellery, easing pain and itching in the process.
Why would I need to use this product?
If you’re suffering from itching, soreness, or itching caused by skin irritation, hydrocortisone cream can help. It can be used for several skin irritations, including reactions to soap or detergents, dermatitis, insect bites, and even mild to moderate eczema.
What causes skin irritation?
An itch is often caused by a condition affecting the skin. There are several different reasons you can have skin irritation:
- Allergies and skin reactions
- Parasites and insects
- Infections
In women, itching can sometimes be caused by hormonal changes, for example, during pregnancy and after the menopause.
How will this cream help to ease my symptoms?
Dermacort cream contains the active ingredient Hydrocortisone, a steroid which can be used to ease lots of different skin conditions. It helps to ease irritation by reducing your body’s immune response to certain conditions, reducing swelling, itching, and soreness in the process. This is why many people use hydrocortisone to treat insect bites, dermatitis, and irritation caused by jewellery or soaps.
