What is Cepton Medicated Skin Wash?

Cepton Medicated Skin Wash is a treatment for the skin that is intended to be used for the treatment of spots and acne. The active ingredient in this skin wash is chlorhexidine gluconate, which is a disinfectant and antiseptic. This works by treating the bacteria and the cause of spots and acne.

What is the cause of acne?

Acne is the result of hair follicles becoming blocked in the skin. It is a common condition that can affect many people. The most likely place that is affected by acne is the face. Acne causes 6 different types of the spot. These are:

  • Blackheads
  • Whiteheads
  • Papules
  • Pustules
  • Nodules
  • Cysts

Most of the types of the spot are not serious with the exception of cysts, which can cause scarring. Acne is often caused by puberty, in particular by testosterone in boys. Acne can also be caused by genetics if there is a family history of it and also by hormone changes in women, such as periods and pregnancy.

Who is this skin wash suitable for?

This skin wash is suitable to be used by anyone who is suffering from the effects of spots and acne. It should not be used by anyone who is allergic to the ingredients contained in the skin wash. Anyone who is using any other form of medication should speak to a doctor or Chemist 4 U pharmacist as soon as possible.

Can someone who is pregnant or breastfeeding use this skin wash?
