What is Sensodyne Mouthwash?
Sensodyne Mouthwash is a daily mouthwash designed with sensitive teeth in mind. It helps to protect sensitive teeth all day long, and has a Cool Mint flavour that helps to keep breath fresh for longer than brushing alone. Sensodyne Mouthwash is available in Cool Mint and Extra Fresh flavours.
Why do I have sensitive teeth?
Sensitive teeth can be caused by a number of conditions, but usually happens when your tooth enamel is damaged or wears away. This exposes the pores of your teeth, which run through to your nerves. When these pores are exposed to heat or cold, the nerves of your teeth begin to hurt, which is what you’d know as tooth sensitivity.
How will this mouthwash protect my sensitive teeth?
Sensodyne Mouthwash helps to re-mineralise your tooth enamel, providing protection for your sensitive teeth where they need them most. This also helps to prevent cavities from forming, so you can feel confident that your teeth are protected.
How to use Sensodyne Mouthwash
Pour out 10ml of Sensodyne Mouthwash and use to rinse your mouth for 1 minute, then spit out. For best results do this twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening, after brushing your teeth with a fluoride toothpaste. Do not swallow and do not rinse with water.
When should Sensodyne Mouthwash not be used?
Sensodyne Mouthwash is not suitable for use by children under the age of 12 unless recommended by a dentist or your doctor. Sensitive teeth may be cased by an underlying condition which should be addressed with your dentist as soon as possible. If you experience any irritation while using this product, or symptoms get worse, stop use and speak to your doctor, dentist, or Chemist 4 U pharmacist if necessary.
