What is Bioxtra Dry Mouth Gel Relief?

Bioxtra Dry Mouth Gel Relief is an effective substitute for natural saliva by regulating the microenvironment in the mouth, relieving the discomfort of your dry mouth. The unique formula contains intensive moisturisers that soothe and lubricate your mouth for hours at a time, even helping to promote healthy teeth and comfortable gums.

How to use this product

Always use Bioxtra Dry Mouth Gel Relief exactly as described in the patient information leaflet or as your doctor / Chemist4U pharmacist has told you. Wash hands thoroughly before use. Apply the gel with your finger or a clean swab to your gums, tongue, under dentures or whenever your mouth feels dry. Remove or spit out any excess gel. Repeat when necessary. Close the cap after use.

What causes a dry mouth?

A dry mouth is nothing to worry about and probably won’t be a sign of anything serious. It can be caused by dehydration, like not drinking enough fluids, excessive sweating, or if you’re unwell and losing fluids, in the case of vomiting and diarrhoea. Certain medicines can cause you to have a dry mouth - if your dry mouth has appeared after starting a new medication, read the information leaflet and speak to your doctor for advice. There are other reasons, too, like breathing through your mouth, anxiety, cancer treatment and oral thrush.

When should this product not be used?

Bioxtra Dry Mouth Gel Relief may be unsuitable for certain people. This product contains traces of milk and egg-white proteins. Do not use this product if you are allergic to any of the listed ingredients.
