Buy BioSURE Prostate Health Screening Test Kit

The BioSURE Prostate Health Screening Test Kit is a prostate home test kit that measures the level of Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) in your blood.

PSA is a protein that is produced in the prostate gland and is used as an indicator of the possibility of prostate cancer.

A negative PSA test does not rule out the possibility of prostate cancer, the same way a positive PSA test does not mean you have cancer. The home test kit can provide you with a result that can be useful for discussion with doctors.

How to use

When you receive the test kit, all you need to do is take a simple finger prick sample, using the lancets that are provided in the box. Once you have done this, you can then register it online and post your kit to the laboratory using the envelope enclosed.

Your results are reviewed by the in-house GPs who will highlight any cause for concern that may need further investigation by your doctor. You will receive your full report via email, showing your results and how they compare with the normal reference ranges. You should expect to get your results the day after the lab receives your sample.

The symptoms of prostate cancer

Symptoms of prostate cancer can include:

  • Needing to urinate more frequently
  • Needing to rush to the toilet
  • Difficulty starting a wee
  • Straining or taking a long time to urinate
  • Feeling that your bladder has not fully emptied
  • Blood in your urine or semen

Who should use this kit?

If you have the above symptoms of prostate cancer, then it is a good idea to take a PSA test. The test itself will give you an indication of your PSA level. A PSA text alone can not diagnose cancer, so it is recommended that you discuss your results further with your GP or healthcare provider.
