How to take this product

Always take this product exactly as described in the patient information leaflet or as your doctor / Chemist4U pharmacist has told you. To use for bloating and flatulence, take 1-2 sachets dissolved in water, yoghurt or any other cold, non-carbonated drink or food and consume immediately. For more troublesome conditions, like diarrhoea and IBS, take 1-4 sachets as a starting dose. Do not exceed the recommended dosage. Vivomixx is a food supplement and should not be used as a substitute for a varied, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.

How do probiotics work?

Probiotics are live bacteria and yeasts that can help with various problems. They're usually added to yoghurts or taken as food supplements, and are often described as ‘good’ or ‘friendly’ bacteria. Probiotics are believed to restore the natural balance of bacteria in your gut (including your stomach and intestines) when it's been disrupted by an illness or treatment.

What is IBS?

Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) is a condition that affects the digestive system, and it is quite common. You may experience symptoms varying from stomach cramps, bloating, gas, diarrhoea and constipation. Your symptoms may come and go, last for a period of time, or you may find that certain things trigger a flare-up.

Are Vivomixx Probiotic Sachets suitable for pregnant and breastfeeding women?

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, you must ask your doctor or Chemist4U pharmacist for advice before taking any new medicines or supplements.

Are there any side effects?

When you first start taking Vivomixx Probiotic Sachets, you may experience bloating while your digestive tract adjusts to the additional bacteria. If you experience bloating, you may need to reduce your daily intake to allow for this adjustment.
