Evacal D3 1500mg Chewable 112 Tablets are a vitamin D supplement, perfect for anyone with osteoporosis or vitamin D and calcium deficiencies. 

The tablets are easy to take and can be taken at any time, making them a convenient way to increase your vitamin intake.

 

Vitamins and minerals

Vitamin D
Vitamin D helps to protect you from osteoporosis. It is a fat-soluble vitamin that helps your body to absorb and retain calcium and phosphorus. Vitamin D also helps to support the immune system.

Calcium
Calcium helps your body to build and maintain strong and healthy bones. It also helps your heart, muscles and nerves to function properly.

Directions

Take 2 tablets a day, once in the morning and once in the evening.

If you are pregnant, take 1 tablet a day.

 

Side effects

Evacal D3 1500mg Chewable 112 Tablets may cause side effects in some people, but these won’t affect everybody. Common side effects include: 

 

  • Nausea
  • Vomiting 
  • Thirst
  • Increased urine output 
  • Constipation

Warnings

Evacal D3 1500mg Chewable 112 Tablets may be unsuitable for certain people. Do not take these tablets if you are allergic to any of the ingredients or if:

 

  • You have phenylketonuria
  • You have a soy allergy 
  • You have high levels of calcium in your blood
  • You have high levels of calcium in your urine 
  • You have overactive parathyroid glands 
  • You have bone marrow cancer
  • You have cancer that has affected your bones
  • You have restricted movement in the limbs 
  • You have kidney stones
  • You have calcium deposits in your kidneys 
  • You suffer from an excessive supply of vitamin D
  • You have severe kidney problems

 

Using/taking other medicines

If you are taking or have recently taken any medication, including medication obtained without a prescription, talk to your GP or pharmacist before taking these tablets.

 

Age restrictions 

This product is not suitable for children under 12 years old.

 

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, you must ask your doctor or Chemist4U pharmacist for advice before taking any new product. 

 

Food and drink

  • Do not take the tablets 2 hours before or after eating foods containing high amounts of oxalic or phytic acid.  Foods include: Spinach  Rhubarb  Wholegrain cereals 

 

Storage information

Store in a cool, dry place out of sight and reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date, referring to the last day of the month stated on the packaging.
