What are Adcal-D3 caplets?

Adcal-D3 caplets are food supplements which contain vitamin D and calcium. They’re perfect for adults and children over the age of 12 who want to support healthy teeth and bones. These caplets are chewable and don’t need to be swallowed with water, so no matter where you are you can take your Adcal-D3 supplement and support your teeth and bones.

Why would I take a vitamin D and calcium supplement?

Vitamin D and calcium are essential if you want to keep your teeth and bones healthy. Vitamin D helps to regulate the amount of calcium in your body and if you don’t get enough vitamin D then adults are at risk of developing osteomalacia, which is similar to rickets in children. Calcium helps your body to build strong bones and teeth too, so making sure you get the right combination of calcium and vitamin D helps you to support your body.

How much Vitamin D is in these caplets?

Each Adcal-D3 chewable tablet contains 200I.U. of vitamin D3, giving you a total of 800I.U. a day when taken as recommended. They also contain 750mg of calcium carbonate, which is the equivalent of 300mg of calcium, providing an equivalent of 1200mg of calcium every day.

Can I take this supplement if I’m pregnant or breastfeeding?

If you’re pregnant or breastfeeding you should only take Adcal-D3 if you’re advised to do so by a doctor or pharmacist. If you’re looking for a general food supplement to take during your pregnancy, ask your doctor or pharmacist to recommend one they think will be right for you.

Will this product affect my regular medication?

If you’re taking any other medication you should speak to your doctor or pharmacist before taking Adcal-D3 caplets. This especially applies if you are already taking:

How to take Adcal-D3 caplets

Should I take these caplets with food?
