What is Jointace Omega-3?

Jointace Omega-3 is a multivitamin by Vitabiotics containing a unique combination of minerals, vitamins and nutrients designed to support your active lifestyle. These capsules include pharmaceutical-grade omega 3 and a range of other beneficial ingredients to help support normal cartilage and bone health.

What is the recommended dosage?

The recommended dosage of Jointace Omega-3 is two capsules per day taken with a main meal. The capsules should always be taken on a full stomach with water or a cold drink - avoid swallowing with a hot drink as this may cause the tablet to disintegrate too early.

Taking a multivitamin tablet can be beneficial for your health if you don’t get enough essential vitamins and minerals through your diet alone. These capsules, however, are not a substitute for a varied, balanced diet and healthy lifestyle.

What vitamins are included in these capsules?

Jointace Omega-3 includes a range of essential vitamins and minerals including pharmaceutical-grade omega 3, vitamin C, vitamin D, vitamin B12, folic acid, copper, manganese and more. For the full list of ingredients, refer to the patient information leaflet.

Are these capsules suitable for vegetarians?

No, Jointace Omega-3 are not suitable for vegetarians or vegans. This is because the capsules contain fish oil and pharmaceutical-grade gelatin from a bovine source.

When should these capsules not be used?

Jointace Omega-3 will be suitable for most people, but you should check with your doctor or Chemist4U pharmacist if you have any pre-existing medical conditions or take any other medications or herbal remedies, including those obtained without a prescription. This is particularly important if you are diabetic or take blood-thinning medication. These capsules may not be suitable for people with a fish allergy.

Are there any side effects?

Jointace Omega-3 has no known side effects when taken as directed. It is possible that you could experience nausea if you take these capsules on an empty stomach, hence why it is recommended that you take your daily dose with a main meal.
