Calpol Saline Nasal Spray helps to clear a blocked nose by thinning and washing away built-up mucus from the nasal passages. When this mucus has dried and built up it can be difficult to clear naturally, making your nose feel uncomfortable and interfering with your breathing. By thinning and washing away the mucus, Calpol Saline Nasal Spray can help you or your baby to breathe more easily.
How to use Calpol Saline Nasal Spray
If you’re treating a baby who is younger than 2, lay them down and turn their head to one side. Place the nozzle of your Calpol Saline Nasal Spray into their nostril and press the spray once. Turn your baby’s head to the other side and repeat in the other nostril.
If you are treating an adult or a child older than 2, put the nozzle into one nostril and press the other nostril closed. Press the Calpol Saline Nasal Spray head once and breathe in through the nose at the same time. Repeat with the other nostril. Adults and children over 2 can use two sprays in each nostril if required.

Can this be used on a baby who is 6 weeks old?
Saline solution is the only safe nasal spray for babies, infants, and toddlers. To use saline solution, lay the baby down on their back and, if possible, slightly tilt their head back (don't force it, though). Then spray two to three drops of saline spray into each nostril
