What is Calpol Saline Nasal Spray?

Calpol Saline Nasal Spray is a simple solution to blocked noses, no matter what their cause. Its natural, non-medicated formula can be used from birth, making it perfect for little ones suffering from a blocked nose. The spray bottle helps you to apply just the right amount of saline solution, making it easier to use Calpol Saline Nasal Spray than ever.

What causes a blocked nose?

Blocked noses can be caused by a number of reasons, making it difficult to breathe and causing discomfort. Some of the most common causes of a blocked nose include:

  • Cold and flu
  • Sinusitis
  • Hay fever or other allergies
  • Post-nasal surgery

When should I use Calpol Saline Nasal Spray?

If you or your baby are suffering from a blocked nose you can use Calpol Saline Nasal Spray to help to reduce the blockage any time. A blocked nose can make it difficult for infants to sleep or breathe, but Calpol Saline Nasal Spray can help to relieve the blockage whenever you need it, helping them to drop off into a peaceful sleep.

How will this spray relieve my baby’s blocked nose?

Calpol Saline Nasal Spray helps to clear a blocked nose by thinning and washing away built-up mucus from the nasal passages. When this mucus has dried and built up it can be difficult to clear naturally, making your nose feel uncomfortable and interfering with your breathing. By thinning and washing away the mucus, Calpol Saline Nasal Spray can help you or your baby to breathe more easily.

How to use Calpol Saline Nasal Spray

If you’re treating a baby who is younger than 2, lay them down and turn their head to one side. Place the nozzle of your Calpol Saline Nasal Spray into their nostril and press the spray once. Turn your baby’s head to the other side and repeat in the other nostril.

If you are treating an adult or a child older than 2, put the nozzle into one nostril and press the other nostril closed. Press the Calpol Saline Nasal Spray head once and breathe in through the nose at the same time. Repeat with the other nostril. Adults and children over 2 can use two sprays in each nostril if required.
