What are Sudafed Max Strength congestion and headache relief capsules?

Sudafed Max Strength is a treatment for headaches and congestion, especially those caused by sinusitis. It helps to relieve your pain and congestion while giving you the energy you need to go about your day to day life.

What is sinusitis?

Sinusitis is the name for what happens when your sinuses swell. This swelling is usually caused by infection and usually clears up by itself within 2 or 3 weeks. If you have sinusitis you may notice the following symptoms:

  • Sinus headaches.
  • Blocked nose.
  • Pain, swelling, and tenderness around the cheeks, eyes, or nose.
  • High temperature.
  • Bad breath.

How does Sudafed Max Strength treat headaches and congestion?

Sudafed Max Strength contains three active ingredients which help to relieve headaches and congestion. These ingredients are:

  • Paracetamol
  • Caffeine
  • Phenylephrine hydrochloride

Paracetamol works to relieve pain caused by headaches and ease a fever, where phenylephrine hydrochloride works as a decongestant. Caffeine is a stimulant which will help to relieve tiredness and help to increase the effects of pain relief.
