How does Veet EasyWax Roll-On Work?

The Veet EasyWax Electrical Roll-On device provides a quick and effective way to heat and apply wax. Hair is pulled from the root by the wax for long-lasting results. The formula contains almond oil that is perfect for sensitive skin and removes root at first application even on hair that is as short as 2mm. Enjoy up to 4 weeks of smooth and moisturised skin.

 

How to use Veet EasyWax

Get salon smooth results at home in just 6 simple steps.

1. Insert the wax roll-on refill snugly into the heating device
2. Plug in the device- the ideal temperature will be reached after a minimum of 20 minutes (maximum 30 minutes)
3. Roll on the wax in the direction your hair grows
4. Apply one strip to your skin. Rub several times in the direction your hair grows to make sure the wax adheres well to the strip
5. Hold your skin taut, grasp the end of the strip and pull the strip back on itself as quickly as you can, against the direction in which the hair grows. This strip can be used multiple times in the same waxing session.
6. After waxing, clean away any wax that is left on your skin with a Veet Perfect Finish™ Wipe.

Warnings

• Read and follow all precautions and directions before use
• Retain outer pack and leaflet for other precautions
• Suitable for use on legs, arms, underarms and bikini line
• The skin may be more sensitive for a short time after use, so avoid scratching
• It is recommended to wait 24 hours before using antiperspirant, perfumed product, using artificial tanning equipment, swimming or sunbathing
• Always leave 72 hours between hair removal sessions

 

How to limit the pain of waxing

Due to the nature of the treatment, there is some pain involved in the waxing process, however, there are steps you can take to limit this pain:

Never wax during your period

This is the time of the month when your pain threshold is lower than normal which can heighten discomfort during waxing.

Loose-fitting clothes

Wear clean, loose-fitting clothes made from breathable material such as cotton after waxing to prevent your clothing irritating your freshly waxed skin.

Opposite direction

Pull the wax strip in the opposite direction to hair growth as it will minimise the pain when you pull the wax strip off.

Exfoliate

Scrubbing off dead skin cells the night before waxing exfoliates the hair follicles and can reduce pain when waxing.

Let it grow

Let the hair grow slightly as waxing small prickly hairs can make waxing painful.

Do not shave

Shaving disturbs the hair growth and makes waxing painful.

When NOT to use Veet Easy Wax

Do NOT use this product if you are allergic to any of the listed ingredients (see ingredients tab for full list). Waxing is not suitable for the elderly, diabetics or people taking oral retinoids. Waxing is suitable for pregnant women but may cause bruising.

This product is not suitable for use on:

• Head
• Face
• Eyes
• Nose
• Ears
• Around the anus
• Genitals
• Nipples

Do NOT use on:

• Varicose veins
• Scars
• Moles
• Spotty, broken, irritated, sunburnt skin
• Skin that has had an adverse reaction to waxes in the past

 

Side Effects

If you experience any stinging or tingling during use, remove the product immediately using a strip, Veet Perfect Finish Wipe ™ or baby oil and rinse thoroughly with cold water. If a burning sensation persists, seek medical advice.
