How does Veet Facial Hair Removal work?
This hair removal kit includes:

Veet Face Hair Removal Kit is a facial hair remover for women and is specifically formulated to remove hair from the upper lip and chin areas of your face. The hair removal cream is formulated with Vitamin E and Aloe Vera, two ingredients are known for their soothing and moisturising properties, to provide hydration for up to 2 hours. Veet works by dissolving the hair at the root for smoothness that can last up to a week and regrowth grows back soft, compared with stubbly regrowth caused by shaving. The Gentle Finishing Cream, soothes the area after hair removal, for smooth, soft and nourished skin.
Silk & Fresh Technology™
Traditional depilatory (hair removal) creams have a reputation for having an unpleasant odour and having to scrub away at the skin after use which can irritate. Having to open a window during use and irritated skin makes this technique a lot less appealing. Veet has developed a formula that uses Silk & Fresh Technology™ that ensures there is no lingering smell during or after the removal process and it contains moisturising properties to ensure skin is hydrated, keeping it soft as well as smooth.
How to use Veet Hair Removal Cream?
Beautifully smooth skin can be achieved in just 4 steps and the entire process takes less than 10 minutes!
- Spread the hair removal cream evenly across the area you wish to treat, using the curved part of the spatula, to fully coat the hair
- Leave the cream on your skin for 5 minutes, then gently remove a small test area of cream with the spatula. If the hair comes away easily, use the spatula to remove the rest. If your hair is more stubborn, you can leave the cream on for up to 10 minutes in total- but don’t leave it any longer.
- Rinse the skin thoroughly with water to remove the cream completely and then dry.
- Apply the Gentle Finishing Cream, in the same way, you would use a moisturiser by massaging gently into the skin.
Warnings
- Read pack precautions carefully before use
- Keep this pack as you will need the information printed on it for future use
- Do NOT exceed 10 minutes total application time
- This product is suitable for use on the upper lip, cheeks and chin
- Leave 72 hours between hair removal sessions
- The skin may be more sensitive for a short time after use- avoid scratching
- It is recommended to wait for 24 hours after use before using antiperspirant, any other perfumed product, artificial tanning equipment, swimming or sunbathing.
When should this product NOT be used?
Do NOT use this product if you are allergic to any of the ingredients (see ingredients tab for full list). Check with your doctor BEFORE using if you are on any medication which can affect the skin, if you suffer from any skin related disorder or if you have a condition which may affect the skin.
This product is NOT suitable for use on:
- The rest of your face
- Head
- Breast
- Perianal area
- Genitals
- Any other body parts
Do NOT use this product on:
- Cold sores
- Scars
- Moles
- Spotty, broken, irritated, sunburnt skin or on skin that has had an adverse reaction to hair removal creams in the past
Side Effects
Before every use, test your skin reaction by applying and removing the product to a small part of the area that you wish to treat, following the directions for use. If, after 24 hours there is no adverse reaction, continue to use. If you experience any smarting/tingling during use, remove the product immediately and rinse thoroughly with cold water. If a burning sensation persists, seek medical advice.
