Nivea Sun Kids Protect & Care Roll-On is a form of sun protection that protects against UVA and UVB rays. This roll-on has been formulated for children’s more delicate skin and helps to prevent sun allergies. The roll-on is designed to be applied easily and when applied, is water resistant.
What are the effects the sun can have on the skin?
Exposing the skin to the sun can have a number of short-term and long-term effects on the skin. Short-term, sun exposure without sufficient protection can cause sunburn and redden and irritate the skin. It can also cause the skin to dry out, increasing the chance of the skin becoming wrinkled and ageing prematurely. Long-term damage can include damage to the DNA in the skin, sun allergies, and potentially sun cancer. Sun exposure doesn’t have to be bad though, as the sun can be a source of vitamin D, which helps the skin to tan.

This roll-on sun protection has been designed to be used by children who will be out in the sun. There is no reason why adults cannot use this sun protection either since it offers a high level of protection. How should Nivea Sun Kids Protect & Care Roll-On SPF50+ be used?
To use this sun protection treatment, apply the roll-on to the skin and ensure that all exposed skin is sufficiently covered by the roll-on. Apply before going out into the sun, and do not be exposed to direct sunlight between 11am-3pm.
