What is Clean & Clear Advantage Rapid Gel?
Clean & Clear Advantage Rapid Gel contains an oil-free, unique formula infused with purifying salicylic acid to unclog pores and reduce the appearance of spots. It exfoliates and quickly removes excess oil, in addition to fighting problem-causing bacteria, leaving skin clear, soft and shine-free.
How to use this product
Always use Clean & Clear Advantage Rapid Gel exactly as described in the patient information leaflet or as your doctor / Chemist4U pharmacist has told you. Squeeze a little bit of the clear gel onto your finger and apply it directly to the spot. Use whenever needed. It’s great to use under or over make-up. Avoid contact with eyes.
What are the benefits of salicylic acid?
Salicylic acid is mainly used to treat and prevent acne, so it’s perfect for oily, combination and acne-prone skin. It penetrates deep underneath the skin to rid the pores of excess oils and impurities, in addition to its exfoliating and anti-inflammatory properties.
What type of acne do I have?
Acne is a skin condition that results in spots caused by the build up of too much sebum (oil) in the hair follicles in your skin. There are different types of acne and different levels of severity. The different types of spots include blackheads, whiteheads, papules, pustules, nodules and cysts.
Your acne may be deemed as severe if you develop nodules (large, hard, painful lumps that build up beneath the surface of the skin) or cysts (large, pus-filled lumps that look similar to boils). At this stage, you should seek advice from your GP for expert treatment to avoid scarring, especially if it’s making you feel very unhappy.
When should this product not be used?
Clean & Clear Advantage Rapid Gel may be unsuitable for certain people. Do not use this gel if you are allergic to any of the ingredients. Seek emergency medical attention if you notice any signs of a severe allergic reaction, symptoms of which include swelling of the face and throat, skin rash, breathing difficulties and/or loss of consciousness.
Store in a cool, dry place out of sight and reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date, referring to the last day of the month stated on the packaging.
