What is Clean & Clear Blackhead Clearing Cleanser?

Clean & Clear Blackhead Clearing Cleanser is specially formulated to fight blackheads from as soon as day one! Salicylic acid penetrates deep into the pores to remove dead skin cells, oil and dirt, leaving skin clear and blackhead free. Better yet, when used daily, it can help to prevent new blackheads from forming.

How to use this product

Always use Clean & Clear Blackhead Clearing Cleanser exactly as described in the patient information leaflet or as your doctor / Chemist4U pharmacist has told you. Apply the cleanser to a cotton pad and wipe over your face and neck, giving extra attention to the T-zone and avoiding the sensitive eye area. Alternatively, use it after cleansing to tighten and tone pores. Use once or twice a day, there’s no need to rinse your face after.

What type of acne do I have?

Acne is a skin condition that results in spots caused by the build up of too much sebum (oil) in the hair follicles in your skin. There are different types of acne and different levels of severity. The different types of spots include blackheads, whiteheads, papules, pustules, nodules and cysts.

Your acne may be deemed as severe if you develop nodules (large, hard, painful lumps that build up beneath the surface of the skin) or cysts (large, pus-filled lumps that look similar to boils). At this stage, you should seek advice from your GP for expert treatment to avoid scarring, especially if it’s making you feel very unhappy.

What are the benefits of salicylic acid?

Salicylic acid is mainly used to treat and prevent acne, so it’s perfect for oily, combination and acne-prone skin. It penetrates deep underneath the skin to rid the pores of excess oils and impurities, in addition to its exfoliating and anti-inflammatory properties.

When should this product not be used?

Clean & Clear Blackhead Clearing Cleanser may be unsuitable for certain people. Do not use this cleanser if you are allergic to any of the ingredients. Seek emergency medical attention if you notice any signs of a severe allergic reaction, symptoms of which include swelling of the face and throat, skin rash, breathing difficulties and/or loss of consciousness.

Storage information
