What is Vamousse Preventative Shampoo?
Vamousse Preventative Shampoo is a treatment that works to prevent a potential head lice infestation. It is ideal to be used when there is a high risk of a potential infestation, such as at school or at a gathering with a number of children present. The active ingredient in this shampoo is isopropyl myristate. This ingredient works by removing the wax off the exoskeleton of the lice. This causes dehydration.
What causes a head lice infestation?
A head lice infestation will be caused by coming into contact with someone who is already affected. Close contact, particularly the head, will likely pass some lice from one person to another. This is common with children at school, which is why they are most likely to be affected. Sharing items such as a comb or a brush can lead to the spread of head lice, as can hats and headphones too. Bad hygiene and dirty hair are not causes for any infestation, though they can make it worse.
Who is this shampoo suitable for?
This shampoo is suitable to be used by adults and children aged 2 and over. It should not be used by anyone who is allergic to the ingredients contained in the shampoo. Anyone who is using any other treatment should consult a doctor or Chemist 4 U pharmacist before using.

How should Vamousse Preventative Shampoo be used?
Use this shampoo as you would a normal shampoo. Apply to the scalp and massage it in thoroughly. Leave it in for 3 minutes before rinsing out.
