What are Nutri Within Vitamin B12 Tablets?

Nutri Within Vitamin B12 Tablets are a supplement containing 1000μg of vitamin B12 and 400μg of folic acid (vitamin B9). These supplements are ideal for someone with a vitamin B12 deficiency or those following a vegan or vegetarian diet. Each bottle of Nutri Within Vitamin B12 Tablets contains 6 months supply. 

What is the recommended dosage?

The recommended dosage is one tablet per day, swallowed whole with water and preferably with a meal. Taking a food supplement can be beneficial for your health if you don’t get enough essential vitamins and minerals through your diet alone. This product is not, however, a substitute for a varied, balanced diet and healthy lifestyle. 

What are the symptoms of vitamin B12 deficiency?

Vitamin B12 is an essential nutrient that helps to keep your body’s blood and nerve cells healthy and helps to make DNA. Low levels of vitamin B12 can cause anaemia, where you have fewer red blood cells than normal or you have an abnormally low amount of haemoglobin in each blood cell. General symptoms of anaemia include: 

• Extreme tiredness

• Lack of energy

• Breathlessness

• Feeling faint

• Headaches

• Pale skin

• Heart palpitations

• Tinnitus 

• Loss of appetite 

Specific symptoms of vitamin B12 deficiency anaemia can also include a pale yellow tinge to your skin, a sore and red tongue (glossitis), mouth ulcers, pins and needles, changes in the way you walk and move around, disturbed vision, irritability, depression, changes in the way you think and behave, and a decline in mental abilities such as memory, understanding and judgement. 

When should this product not be used? 

Nutri Within Vitamin B12 Tablets will be suitable for most people, but you should check with your doctor or Chemist4U pharmacist if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have any pre-existing medical conditions or take any other medications or herbal remedies, including those obtained without a prescription.

Are there any side effects? 

It is very unlikely that you will experience any side effects from taking this supplement. If you experience any symptoms of an allergic reaction (difficulty breathing, swelling of the face, skin rash) seek medical attention immediately. 

If you experience any side effects, including those that are not listed in the patient information leaflet, you can report them using the MHRA Yellow Card Scheme.

Storage information

Store out of sight and reach of children away from direct sunlight. Do not use this supplement after the expiry date, referring to the last day of the month stated on the packaging.
