Your teeth become sensitive when your tooth enamel wears away, leaving the pores that run to the nerves of your teeth exposed. This means that hot, cold or sweet foods can affect these pores, causing the pain that you’ll recognise as sensitivity. Some of the most common causes of sensitive teeth include:

- Brushing too hard or over-brushing your teeth

- Grinding your teeth

Listerine Advanced Defence Sensitive Mouthwash helps to protect sensitive teeth by blocking the microscopic holes that form on the surface of your teeth. This protects any exposed nerves, preventing pain caused by sensitivity.
How to use Listerine Advanced Defence Sensitive Mouthwash
Use 15ml of Listerine Advanced Defence Sensitive Mouthwash to rinse your mouth for 1 minute, twice a day. For best results, use every morning and every evening after brushing your teeth. Do not dilute this mouthwash and always spit out after use, do not swallow.
When should Listerine Advanced Defence Sensitive Mouthwash not be used?
Listerine Advanced Defence Sensitive Mouthwash is not suitable for use by children under the age of 18. Do not use this product if you are allergic to oxalates or any of the other listed ingredients. If you experience any pain or irritation while using this product, stop use right away. Do not use this product if you:
- Have a history of kidney disease
- Have a history of hyperoxaluria
- Have a history of kidney stones
- Have a history of malabsorption syndrome
- Take high doses of vitamin C
Do not swallow this product, or swig it from the bottle. Use only as directed.
