What is the difference between shaving gel and shaving foam?
Both shaving gels and shaving foams help to give you a smoother shave and protect your skin from friction during shaving, but there are some key differences between the two.
Shaving foam
It provides a light, instant lather due to having an airy texture. They are quite thick to apply and quick to wash away as they’re not sticky. Shaving foams are a good option if you don’t have a lot of time in the morning to dedicate to shaving.
Shaving gel
Shaving gels produce a slightly richer lather in comparison to shaving foams, which can provide a greater deal of protection and an enhanced glide for your razor. They tend to be thinner in consistency and can spread across your face much more easily than foam, but may take a little more time to wash off after use.
How to use Gilette Fusion Shaving Gel
Lather up the Gillette Fusion Shaving Gel and apply all over the areas of your face that you wish to shave. Remove the gel with a razor using light strokes, ensuring not to use excessive pressure. As your facial hair grows in different directions, you may have to shave both with and against the grain to remove every hair. Rinse thoroughly and apply a moisturiser or aftershave.
