What is Bondi Sands Self Tanning Lotion Light/Medium?

Bondi Sands Self Tanning Lotion is perfect for those with a light to medium complexion and first time tanners. This lightweight, Australian made, cruelty free and vegan formula is enriched with aloe vera and infused with the beachy scent of coconut to give you a gorgeous, even and sun-kissed tan every time.

How to use this product

It’s all about the preparation when it comes to tanning. Before you apply the tan, make sure you exfoliate and shave (if you choose to) to create a soft, smooth foundation. Then, moisturise the skin to give your tan a base to cling to and wait for it to dry. Now it’s time to apply your tan, but ensure that you use a tanning mitt to get an even finish.

Squeeze the Bondi Sands Self Tanning Lotion liberally onto your application mitt, using long, sweeping motions to smooth over your legs, arms and body. Use the remaining lotion for your face, elbows, and knees. Your skin may be washed after 1 hour. To achieve a longer lasting, darker tan, leave for up to 6 hours before showering with warm water. Gently pat the skin dry. For the deepest tan, reapply 30 minutes after the initial application.

How do you avoid streaks when tanning?

There’s nothing worse when you’re expecting gorgeous, sun-kissed skin, but wake up to a streaky shambles. If you’re looking to prevent any further tanning mishaps, make sure to exfoliate properly before applying any self-tanner. It’s also important to moisturise before and a little after application, especially in your dry areas, like your elbows and knees.

What is the best way to remove fake tan?

Exfoliation is the best option to remove your unwanted tan rather than leaving it to run its course. If you want to make it easier on yourself, drench your skin in oil, like baby oil, as it breaks down the tan so you don’t have to scrub as hard, which can irritate your skin.
